I am a Research Assistant Professor (RAP) in the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). I completed my Ph.D. in Computer Science at Duke University (Advisor: Prof. Lisa Wu Wills; Dissertation: Artificial Intelligence for Intelligent Computer Architecture). I received my B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of California, Irvine.

• Computer Architecture: AI hardware accelerator, CPU micro-architecture, number formats and arithmetic circuits.
• Compiler and EDA: Logic synthesis, hardware abstraction language, VLSI.
• Artificial Intelligence: Model compression/quantization, sparsity, AI for chip design, LLM systems and infrastructure.
• Information Theory: Coding theory, compression algorithms, video codecs.
